Seriously thinking through what most people leave vague — desire, money, identity, progress, what the individual owes to nobody and what nobody can take from them.
My influences are Nietzsche, Jung, Schopenhauer, and Dostoevsky.
The economics are Austrian.
The body is intelligent, desire is information, and most people are more interesting than the version of themselves they present in public.
The aim is to change how people think. Not what they think — how. The difference matters.
The post-modernists and I have a deal — I use the lens but I never gave them the ending.
Growing things, walking long distances, reading historical sites as arguments made in stone.
Building a garden people will pay to enter because they love it, not because they have to.
The same logic applies to conversations. If you want to think something through properly, this is the place. Some conversations change the way you see things.
The real question is whether you are ready to follow the thought to the end.
